Monday Moments

  • The kids have gone to school, I posted on facebook yesterday that I love Mondays, most of my friends didn't get it.
  • I am looking forward to a weekend in Toronto with my kids half brothers Mom ( does that make sense?). We are going to have a night away and talk and drink wine and do other things like try to find some more kids to adopt. We are staying at a hotel with adult only pool on the 27th floor. I am pumped even if it is a really long drive.
  • I am making our garden bigger this week, that has me really excited as well, that and the 100 pepper plants that are growing in my bedroom. We garden with another family and so those plants are for both of us but it excites me none the less. We also have other things growing but the peppers have done really well.
  • I have my fingers crossed that the boys make it through the week at school. Calvin's school is finally aware of just how demanding this Mama Bear can be when crossed. I think that they are FINALLY listening. Now that I have said that aloud something bad is going to happen.
  • I saw this shirt on Pixie Mama, I ordered one because that is so Fudge and it makes me giggle. I need to giggle more.
  • I am looking very forward to putting loin chops from out neighbours on the grill tonight, fressh meat is so much better than anything from the store. I used to be squeamish about stuff like that but meat comes from animals, there is no other way to get meat. I am less squeamish now that I have lived in the country for 5 years.
  • Sadly P got a virus on his account on this computer and it reminded me that I really need to back up all the stuff that is on it because if I lost it I would be really sad. That neeeds to happen this week too.
  • The sunshine is calling and so is the laundry.
PS I can not wait for it to be warm enough for shorts, I am so tired of grass stains!
