Monday Moments

  • I did not sleep well and a part of me really wants to just go back to bed.
  • The sun is shining though and I should be int he garden but instead I am going to a friends house because I want to.
  • My kids were regular kids at a party yesterday, we were there for about 6 hours and there was not a single melt down over anything. They both ate way to much junk food but they had fun. Calvin started to have a bit of a meltdown on the way home but with a little TLC he pulled it together.
  • I am so happy that the business that is the school year is settling down and summer is coming, Sunday school is done and cubs only has a few more events planned, then summer will be just around the corner.
  • I am enjoying that relative calm that is life with the boys at this exact moment because I know the other shoe could drop at any moment and one of them could be out of control. But we had a great weekend and everyone was regulated and I need to enjoy that because it does not happen very often
  • Fudge threatened to kill a girl at school on Friday because he was upset with her for retracting a birthday invite, I can't really say that I blame her given that Fudge was being a brat to her all day. It was never a real invite, it had just been talked about and his little heart was broken so he decided that killing her would be a good solution. The teacher was not impressed.
  • If I am going to be somewhere in 20 minutes I gotta go.
  • Do you know about Dollar Store Crafts, it has lots of great ideas on it.
  • Ok I really have to go now.

I know what you mean about the other shoe dropping or flying across the room and hitting you up side the head, which ever. Glad you had a good weekend and that you took time to note it and enjoy it! You rock!

It has been a struggle but I am working on enjoying the moment while watching for, but not wasting time worrying about, the next moment!
