My family is waiting and hoping today. My brother in law D is still critical, he is in a medically induced coma and fighting sepsis. We are all hoping that is going to survive because none of us are ready to let him go. Family and friends have flown in to be with my sister and help her at this time and now we all wait.
D is a healthy and active man and that is definitely working in his favor at this time. The cause of his illness is still not clear and even once they get the sepsis under control they will need to deal with the underlying cause.
I know this all a bit rambly, I'm typing it on my iPod as our Internet is down and to be honest I am still very overwhelmed as this is all so sudden. Thank you for your good thoughts/healing energy/prayers/whatever it is you've been doing because it's helping, please keep it up because D and his family need it.
