Monday Moments in pictures

My monsters were perhaps the best behaved kids at the Christmas Eve Services/Meal. There were some tense moments in the lead up but they pulled it together and where frankly about as close to angelic as 2 little boys can be.
Glow in the dark pj bottoms that I sewed in the 9th hour were a big hit.
Stockings and oranges, they got a whole box given that they are addicts and I refuse to buy them any other time!
boys and their Dad, still holding it together on Christmas Day, that would be 2 days in a row

the best part of Mom baking.

This Fudge and his sister, she is a great kid who is prying her way into my heart and in the moment when she asked "Why can't you adopt me too?" I had to fight back the tears. I wanted to tell her that I tried, that I fought for her and that I tried but was told no that I could not have all 3. I wanted to help her. I think that P and I are going to write a letter this week, I think that the system needs to hear that she asking this of us.
  • today after 4 days of great behaviour we are back to regular vacation behaviour, gotta get back into the swing of things because you know we would not want to be good for to long, it might get easy.
  • I need to write a post all about last nights sneaky behaviour and my new policy on lying. But I will not do that this morning because I am going to the big city to get groceries to make a Japanese meal for New Years - so exciting. What is even more exciting is that I am going by myself.

You definitely have to write a letter about their sister. The system needs to know what her wishes are.

I can't wait for your post on your new lying policy.

Ya know, I was wondering why whenever I come in here there are 2 or 3 posts that I missed. Turns out I was not "following". WTH? Anyway, fixed that little problem. So, did you knit that shawl yourself? You did, didn't you? It is unbelievably gorgeous!
