Monday Moments

  • We survived yesterday, Fudge was fine although he is rather weepy, Calvin made it through the day and tried to rage late in the afternoon but I would not engage and so eventually he stopped. I talked to him about how normal it would be if he was missing his birth mom today and that it would be okay if he was confused about loving us both. He would not tell me what was going on but I am fairly certain that I hot the nail on the head. They wrote her letters and put them in a card for her, the letters spoke volumes about the differences that there are between them and how they feel about what has happened to them.
  • It was cold this weekend and I did not get to work in the garden, it is supposed to be warmer today and as soon as the sun has been up long enough to warm the air I will be outside.
  • I have therapy tomorrow, thank God for small things that help keep me sane.
  • I teach catechism at our parish, I teach grade 2, that means first communion, it is on Sunday, it can not be over soon enough for me.
  • I am tired today.
  • I hope we have a quiet week.
  • I wish I had a laundry fairy, if anyone has any leads on one please let me know.
  • I am wondering about summer and about how it will work for us. I am thinking about a camping trip to PEI because I think that it would be nice to spend a week watching the boys play on the beach and there is no way that we can afford to fly to the west coast this year.
  • I wish that I had a crystal ball, it would make things easier.
  • I would ready for my allergies to let up anytime, I love spring,m I hate sneezing all the time.
  • There are only 7 more weeks of school - gah!

7 weeks of school? not sure where you are, but we only have 2 1/2 wks left and I'm doing a bit of panicking.

My MIL and I were just talking about that crystal ball thing as we talked on the phone this morning.

Surviving is huge!

There are 3 laundry fairies that live here. J sorts and loads in the washer, I load in the dryer and K folds and puts away. Unless K loses her privilge then J gets paid to do K's work. J loves it when that happens. :)

You didn't engage the rage and it stopped??!! *does not compute* There's a song in there somewhere. . (humming "disengage the rage" to "Too Legit to Quit" hey, hey!)

That's awesome!
